Atlas Operator Intake Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 5, 2026
Atlas Operator Intake is a private personal-use productivity system operated for its owner.
Google Data Access
Atlas Operator Intake requests read-only access to the owner’s Gmail account using the Google Gmail API.
The requested OAuth scope is:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly
Atlas Operator Intake does not request authority to send, reply to, forward, delete, archive, mark read or unread, relabel, or otherwise modify Gmail messages.
How Gmail Data Is Used
Gmail data is used only to provide owner-facing personal productivity functions such as:
- identifying potentially important messages;
- prioritizing and organizing personal intake;
- producing bounded summaries;
- identifying possible follow-ups;
- producing local operator-review material.
Normal personal correspondence may be transmitted in bounded form to the AI inference provider configured for Atlas solely to provide these owner-facing functions.
At the time of publication, Atlas uses third-party cloud AI inference infrastructure for normal Atlas reasoning.
Operator-designated PROTECTED_LOCAL correspondence is handled differently. Substantive protected-local content remains inside the owner-controlled Operator Intake service and is not substantively transmitted to Atlas’s cloud AI reasoning providers. Only bounded locally derived alert metadata may be surfaced.
Operator-designated QUARANTINED messages are not substantively retrieved when deterministic metadata rules are sufficient to identify them.
Storage and Retention
Normal normalized Gmail content is retained locally for up to 30 days under the current Operator Intake policy.
PROTECTED_LOCAL message bodies are not intentionally stored as a second persistent application body copy.
OAuth credentials are stored locally within a protected operating-system service boundary and are not exposed through the Atlas conversational interface.
Attachments are not automatically downloaded or analyzed by Operator Intake.
Sharing and Sale
Google user data is not sold.
Google user data is not used for advertising.
Google user data is not shared for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.
Normal personal correspondence may be processed by the configured AI inference provider only as necessary to provide the owner-requested Atlas functionality described above.
Protected-local substantive content is excluded from that cloud-model path under the current policy.
Atlas Operator Intake is a private personal-use system and does not provide Gmail access or processing services to outside users.
Google API Policy
Use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
User Control
The owner may revoke Atlas Operator Intake’s Google authorization through the owner’s Google Account security/permissions controls.
